encylia offers the option to set up your website as a subdomain of encylia.com, or with your own domain at account signup time. That means we needed to configure WHMCS to allow both subdomain and domain registration without forcing one over the other. WHMCS V5.3 doesn’t make it obvious how to set this up, however.

Thankfully, it’s pretty simple. There are four steps.

Step one: Go to your product list

Step three: Check ‘Tick to show domain registration options’ on the ‘Details’ tab.

Step four: Enter the domains you’re willing to offer a subdomain of in the ‘Other’ tab:

That’s it! Once you save your product, refresh your cart, and you’ll see all the options listed there.
